How to make natural lavender, vinegar and vodka disinfectant

Use it to clean bathroom surfaces, countertops, tables, appliances, light switches and doorknobs.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup white vinegar
• 1/2 cup vodka
• 10 drops lavender essential oil
• 10 drops lemon essential oil
• 1 1/2 cups water

Directions

Pour all the ingredients into a spray bottle and shake well. Spray all surfaces and let sit for 10 minutes. Wipe clean with a microfibre cloth.

Why it works

White vinegar and vodka inhibit the growth of germs. The lavender and lemon essential oils are antibacterial and antiseptic. Bonus: The scent of the lavender helps relieve stress and boost mood.
